It has been a turbulent couple of weeks for British middleweight star Michael Bisping. “The Count” was forced to withdraw from his main event match-up against Mark Munoz later this month in Manchester, after a detached retina left him incapable of sight out of his right eye. Doctor initially discovered the detached retina in May and concluded that Bisping had competed in consecutive bouts against Vitor Belfort and Alan Belcher with the injury. The long-time UFC star went under the knife later that month and it was believed that the injury had regressed. It was only when he began his training camp for the Munoz fight that things took a turn for the worse. He continues to suffer pain in his eye yet has not undergone a second surgery as of yet. The Manchester-born fighter posted a photo on twitter earlier today for fans curious as to the state of his right eye.
