The injury bug has taken its first victim of 2013. Justin Salas has been forced out of his UFC on FX 7 preliminary bout with Edson Barboza and has been replaced with undefeated Brazilian striker Lucas Martins. The news was announced earlier today on the UFC’s official website.  Barboza is coming off the first loss in his professional career and is looking to mount a comeback and regain his prior momentum when he meets the debuting Martins in just over two weeks. He was on a ten fight winning streak prior to his loss, which included a spectacular spinning heel-kick KO of Terry Etim back in 2011. Now fighting in Brazil for the first time since UFC:Rio, Barboza will certainly be searching for a decisive win to send his countrymen home happy. Lucas Martins is undefeated heading into his UFC debut with seven TKO/KO’s and three submissions amongst those wins.
