Nick Diaz continues to be the most talked about topic heading into Saturday night’s highly anticipated UFC 158 Pay-Per-View. After a memorable media conference call last week, Diaz once again made MMA headlines when he decided to no-show to his open media workout. On Thursday afternoon, the controversy continued during the pre-fight press conference as Nick voiced his opinion regarding a variety of topics and continued his verbal barrage on the visibly frustrated St-Pierre.
The Strikeforce champ followed up with several interesting remarks on Toronto’s Sportsnet590, including how he believed the champ would fare against some of his prior opponents.
“I’d like to see him [GSP] fight Robbie Lawler. He would get knocked the [expletive] out.” Diaz told hosts Tim Micallef and Sid Seixeiro. ”Or to Takanori Gomi back when I did. He would have lost that fight. He would have lost all those fights to all them hitters that I was fighting, taking punches and getting my face split open.”
