UFC officials have announced that Papy Abedi will replace the injured Rich Attonito in a bout against Rick Story at UFC on FX 4. The severity of Attonito’s injury has not been disclosed.

UFC on FX 4 takes place June 22 at Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event will be headlined by a lightweight bout between top contenders Clay Guida and Gray Maynard.

Abedi is 8-2 in his professional mixed martial arts career. He is currently on a two fight losing skid and is 0-2 in the UFC thus far. In his last bout he was defeated by James Head via first round submission at UFC on FUEL 2.

Story is 13-5 in his professional mixed martial arts career. He is currently on a two fight losing skid also and is 6-3 in the UFC thus far. In his last bout he was defeated by Martin Kampmann via decision at UFC 139.
