Sonnen: “Jon, Quit Trying To Be Me, It Makes You Appear Stupid”

On last night’s edition of ‘UFC Tonight’ light-heavyweight title challenger Chael Sonnen took the opportunity to blast 205lb champ Jon Jones for his choice of tweets. The champ had tweeted that this would likely be “Sonnen’s last chance at a title shot” and that he would “dominate his opponent in a way that no one has ever seen before.” This sparked a quick and blunt reply from Sonnen, who offered Jones some heart to heart advice: “Jon, stop tweeting. Quit trying to be me, it makes you appear stupid and gives me material to ridicule you with. Look Kenny, if Jon Jones, a potted cactus and a slice of pizza from my oven were all on ‘Jeopardy,’ Jon Jones would not make the final round. On a lighter note, Jon you had another baby and in seriousness, congratulations. At this rate, by this time next year you will be the octo-mom of the octagon.”
