Strikeforce Meisha Tate

The Ohio Athletic Commission has medically suspended every contestant that competed in this past Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” event. Most were issued a mandatory seven-day ban, but eight athletes will be forced to ride the pine for longer.

Miesha Tate (Pictured), who found her left arm bent in the opposite direction in an armbar submission loss to Ronda Rousey, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Roger Bowling and Conor Heun all face indefinite suspensions. However, each can return to action with the permission of their physician.

Nationwide Arena in Columbus hosted this weekend’s extravaganza.

Here are the fighters that will be out for longer than the commission’s mandatory ban (Courtesy of MMAJunkie):

Miesha Tate: Indefinite suspension due to left elbow dislocation

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza: Indefinite suspension due to possible broken hand

Roger Bowling: Indefinite suspension due to possible broken hand

Conor Heun: Indefinite suspension due to possible broken hand

Kazuo Misaki: Suspended 45 days to due a facial laceration

Alexis Davis: Suspended 30 days to due a facial laceration

Pat Healy: Suspended 30 days to due a head laceration

Brandon Saling: Suspended 30 days for precautionary reasons
