Thiago Silva is set to face UFC newcomer Rafael ‘Feijao’ Cavalcante at UFC 162 in Las Vegas. The event will take place on July 6th though the UFC has yet to make this fight official. Both of these fighters are coming off suspentions for positive test. Feijao tested positive for stanozolol, an anabolic steroid, and Silva tested positive for Marijuana in November. Silva also was suspended by the NSAC following his 2011 win over Brandon Vera after his urine sample came back and was determined to not be consistent with human urine. Thiago later admitted to taking a banned substance and was suspended for one year. Interesting to see these two fighters getting shots in the UFC after their pasts and Matt Riddle getting his walking papers for smoking marijuana which he is prescribed for.
