Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson said he would finish Ryan Bader “as fast as possible” at UFC 144. That was probably a good game plan for Rampage considering he entered the fight with a half empty gas tank. After missing weight by six pounds and stating an injury (after the fight he said he injured his knee in camp and re-injured it during the fight) in camp prevented him from doing much, if any, cardio, most people (me included) thought Rampage would still finish Bader. Instead, Rampage gassed early and was dominated the majority of the fight. Bader won a unanimous decision.

During the fight, on Twitter, Dan Henderson, who lost to Rampage at UFC 75, was quite critical of the former UFC Light Heavyweight champion.

Hendo taking shots at Rampage’s heart and mind. What would happen if these two hooked up again? I might have to go with Henderson considering how each fighter has looked in their past few fights. I don’t think it’s a fight we’ll see though, as Henderson is on a roll and Rampage is, unfortunately, going in the opposite direction.
