UFC 145's live prelims that aired on FX on Saturday garnered a record-breaking audience. The show drew 1.6 million viewers on average, which is the highest-rated UFC program to ever air on FX. It is also higher than the 1.5 million viewers on average the UFC got for their prelim shows on Spike TV. This bodes well for the pay-per-view buyrate for UFC 145's main card, which we should have an estimate for in the coming days.Meanwhile the news isn't so rosy for Bellator. Despite featuring a "superfight" pitting former Bellator champ Eddie Alvarez against Japanese sensation Shinya Aoki, Bellator LXVI only got 109,000 viewers on average. This is the second-lowest rated Bellator program this season, only beating the 108,000 viewers that Bellator LXI drew.

When Michael Chandler submitted Eddie Alvarez (Pictured) to snap his seven-fight winning streak and steal his Bellator lightweight title, many wondered if Alvarez’s best days were behind him.
