Tyron Woodley has declared war on UFC Welterweights Three Strikeforce fighters put the UFC vets on blast during the two-hour FX block of tonight's fights with some statement making performances before Dunham and Tibau closed things out. We go the play-by-play route for the FX portion of tonight's UFC 156 Super Saturday extravaganza.

Yves Edwards vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg

Yves Lavinge will oversee this contest between the veteran ThugJitsu master Yves Edwards and Ann Arbor, Michigan's Isaac Vallie-Flagg Round 1:

Vallie-Flagg is landing the nastier stuff here early as both fighters come out of the gate looking very fresh. He has a very unorthodox arsenal just like we saw him showcase in his win against JZ Cavalcante. The fighters clinch and after a break Edwards lands a vicious head kick. The Ann Arbor native (Flagg) is landing some sneaky uppercuts. Catches Edwards leg and eats a flying knee for his troubles. He aborts the take down  attempt and the fighters are against the cage. Edwards looks for a uppercut of his own to no avail. Flagg swings for the fances as the round closes. HOV-MMA scores the 1st 10-9 Flagg Round 2: We are under way and Flagg once again is controlling Edwards against the cage . Edwards has him in the clinch. The fighters separate and Flagg goes for a spinning attack but misses. Clinch again and Flagg uses his dirty boxing. Lands another uppercut. Flagg looks for a front kick, it's too slow and Yves makes him eat a jab. Flagg lands a right. Gets Yves against the cage again. Hand fighting ensues. Edwards reverses position and goes for the single. Trips Flagg with his other leg to score the take down. Moves into side control and eventually full mount. Flagg uses the cage to try and escape but Edwards gets his hooks in after he takes Flagg's back. This spells trouble for Flagg. Isaac attmepts to turn into Yves but seems to realize full on defense mode may be his best bet at this point. Time is running out and Flagg hangs on. He survives but the ThugJitsu Master takes this round 10-9. Round 3: Front kick to the body early from Flagg. Edwards lands a couple of good combos it seems to just piss Flagg off. He's coming forward like a mad man. Edwards lands an uppercut of his own with just under 3 minutes left in the round. Both men stand and trade and it appears that Vallie-Flagg is blooded. Two uppercuts from Vallie-Flagg against the cage. Issac is just a relentless brawler. Edwards is tired and Flagg just doesn't give him a break. Flagg keeps using that front kick to the body, mixing it up all the way to the end of the bout. Another round for Vallie-Flagg. HOV-MMA scores this contest 29-28 for Vallie-Flagg in his UFC debut. Final Result: Isaac Vallie-Flagg (14-3-1) defeats Yves Edwards (42-19-1) via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) Jacob Volkmann vs. Bobby Green The UFC vs. Strikeforce theme continues as Jacob "Chirstmas" Volkmann shares the Octagon with Bobby "King" Green. Round 1: Kim Winslow is back. We all know she could take both of these dudes out but maybe on another day. Green looks to push the pace and keep Volkmann upright. Volkmann gets the take down after about a minute. It was only a matter of time. He's too crafty. Volkmann has Green's back and goes for rear-naked after rear-naked attempting to put his left then his right then his left arm under the chin. This is either solid submission defense from Green or a lackadaisical effort from Volkmann. Nonetheless this is Volkmann's fight so far. 10-9 "Christmas". Round 2: Good sprawl work from Green early and Volkmann pulls guard. Green dives into it. Green is punishing Volkmann on the ground. A graphic tells us that he's outlanding Volkmann 24-0 in ground strikes. And Kim Winslow just stood the fight up. That is disgusting. Green was killing Volkmann down there doing work and Winslow stood them up. Head scratcher and the Vegas crowd knows it. Volkmann gets his man down again and takes his back. Goes for the RNC again but the horn sounds. Green takes this round 10-9 on the highly official HOV-MMA scorecard.  Round 3: Volkmann tries to set up the take down again with what could easily be the worst stand up game in the world. Green takes a kick to the package and Winslow gives him a break. Green takes minimal time to recover and scores a take down. Volkmann uses the cage to get into half guard and he gets up. Green motions Volkmann to come forward after the two separate. Volkmann catches Bobby's leg and gets him down only to be reversed. Green is the fresher more dangerous fighter with two minutes left but somehow he gives up his back to Volkmann again. Green reverses and mounts Volkmann. He's ruining "Christmas" with these shots! Green sinks in the RNC. Game over. There will be no post-fight speech antics from Volkmann tonight. Awesome to see Green get the win in his UFC debut, especially after that joke of a stand up from Winslow in Round 2. Final Result: Bobby Green (20-5) defeats Jacob Volkmann (15-4) via RNC, Round 3, 4:23 Tyron Woodley vs. Jay Hieron Tyron Woodley will look to make it 3-0 for Team Strikeforce on the FX prelims.  Round 1: Woodley catches Hieron with a monster shot less than a minute in! He pounces the downed man and pounds him out. Hieron is stiff, he's out cold. What a UFC debut from Tyron Woodley. Wow. It was a right hook to the side of the head. Woodley didn't look for the submission while Hieron was face down. Instead he picked his shots and when Hieron ended up on his back Woodley put his lights out. It was about four or five unanswered rights from top position that bounchd Hieron's head off the canvas until he went out. Stikeforce 3. UFC 0. Tyron Woodley is officially a problem in the UFC Welterweight division. Final Result: Tyron Woodley (11-1) defeats Jay Hieron (23-7) via KO (punches) Round 1, 0:36 Gleison Tibau vs. Evan Dunham Round 1: It's time! Tibau is the 155 Wanderlei Silva . He wings his shots while Dunham is the more precise striker. Crazy exchanges early and Tibau scores the first take down. Tibau goes for the guillotine and pulls guard. Dunham is out but Tibau is still in dominant position. The fighters exchange for the next couple minutes with neither man do any big damage. Dunham is scoring more though and he ends the round looking to be the fresher of the two . HOV-MMA scores Round 1 10-9 in favor of Tibau. Round 2: While Tibau is still throwing the heavier shots he's slowed down to the point that Dunham can see them coming a mile away. Dunham is landing with more volume and he scores a very brief take down with about three and a half minutes remaining. Dunham continues to control Tibau against the cage and at the mid way point the fighters separate. Gleison going for the kill shot once again but he's essentially just shadowboxing really really hard. He does land a couple shots as the fighters trade blow for blow as the round comes to a close. 10-9 Dunham. Round 3: Dunham goes for a guillotine and the fight hits the ground. Briefly. Tibau goes for the same move but nothing doing. The two separate. Tibau is very very gassed. He cuts way too much weight to do any significant damage in these deep waters. Dunham is stuffed once again, another unsuccessful take down. Dunham is landing more jabs. This appears to be his fight if he can keep that distance and continue to use his length. Just when I say that Tibau pushes him against the cage. Dunham is able to escape though. Another take down attempt for Dunham. Another stop by Tibau. Dunham lands a knee and another combo. Front kicks attempts all day from Dunham. Dunham stuffed for the 7th time. Combos from Dunham. A flying knee lands. Another knee lands. Dunham closes this one out strong and takes this fight 29-28 on our scorecard.  Final Result: Evan Dunham  (14-3) defeats Gleison Tibau (26-9) via UD (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
