• Featherweight Bout: Cole Miller vs. Nam Phan
Great combos by Phan early but Miller is just too tall and lanky, he can easily use that reach advantage to, well, his advantage if this goes the distance. Phan is feeling it. He's getting the best of Miller on the toes. Phan is crisp as we head to the end of the 1st. Miller is throwing out his leg like he wants Phan to cuddle it. He has nothing on his kicks. Miller is coming back in the final minute but Phan gets off with 15 seconds remaining. Very interesting back and forth fight so far. Phan 10-9 on the hov-mma scorecard.
Miller's kicks have some more mustard back on them as we start the 2nd round. Phan is peppering Cole with his trade mark body shots but Cole is game, some good return. Most fighters are thrilled to speak with the media following a win, but UFC featherweight Nam Phan (Pictured) was absolutely ecstatic to see there was an Asian reporter (yours truly) waiting in line for a one-on-one with him after beating Cole Miller at “UFC on FOX 4.”
