The UFC made another landmark first this Saturday morning as they brought their first live event from China to the masses. UFC on Fuel TV 6 went live early Saturday morning on Fuel TV.

Cung Le put the finishes touches on the UFC’s first event in China with a devastating right hook that knocked out Rich Franklin. Le was considered by many to be an underdog against Frankling who was more experienced and a former middleweight champion. The UFC made history on Saturday when it brought its first-ever event to the country of China. A mixed show broadcast live on Fuel TV that saw a highly anticipated fight end quickly with one of the most stunning knockouts of the year.
UFC on FUEL TV 6: Franklin vs. Le took place today in China with Cung Le defeating Rich Franklin by knockout in the main event.
Following the event, UFC President Dana White tweeted the winners of the ‘Fight of the Night’, ‘Submission of the Night’ and ‘Knockout of the Night’.
Each fighter was awarded $40,000 for their efforts.

After a night of freebie MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Thiago Silva (Pictured), Cung Le, Takanori Gomi and Mac Danzig each an additional $40,000 for their special performances Saturday at “UFC on FUEL TV: Franklin vs. Le.”
There was only one submission and one knockout in the event, so those bonuses were no-brainers.
