The Flying Knee MMA:
Junior Dos Santos
The UFC returns to Japan this Saturday for another surprisingly stacked Fuel TV card, headlined by PRIDE legend Wanderlei Silva and former Marine Brian Stann. Sound good? Let’s get to it.
Wanderlei Silva vs. Brian Stann
The big question here is whether Silva’s chin can withstand the power of Stann? Honestly, I don’t think so. If we look at their common opponent in Chris Leben, that can give us a pretty good blue print as to how the fight will go. While Wand has been generally more measured and tame is his fights as of late, we’ve still seen him get drawn into brawls, like he did with Leben. I imagine this is going to be...

Two warriors took to the Octagon last night (March 2, 2013) as Pride legend Wanderlei Silva returned to Japan to take on former WEC light heavyweight champion Brian Stann at 205 pounds in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV 8.
It was a bout between two of the most ferocious and powerful stand-up strikers on the UFC roster, and it delivered in one of the wildest two-round fights in UFC...

Alex Caceres vs Kyung Ho Kang
Side kick from Caceres misses. Kang shoots forward and gets the takedown on his opponent. He has side control briefly, but is doing some limited damage in half guard. Caceres uses a slick butterfly guard to get up to his feet, but Kang is...

"I want to send a message to Wanderlei Silva. Our great champion. Our eternal great champion. I am a huge fan. I wish you all the best in your next fight. Go in there, as always do with your warrior style. Like a beast. Give your best. For sure you will win. Big hug Wandeco!"
Last night’s first round will go down as one of the best rounds ever. It was just awesome to see Wandy win big in Japan again. Brian Stann was a willing participant in this battle and cordial in defeat. Awesome, awesome fight.
