It looked good on paper. Never judge a book by its cover. Insert another predictable idiom here. After Hyun Gyu Lim made his presence felt it turned out to be a pretty disappointing night in terms of violence. 8 straight decisions ;ater it was up to the big boys to close things out with a bang. Saying they did just fine. would be an understatement. This was one of the exciting closes to any UFC card in history. So often cards deliver throughout and then fizzle at the end.  I have a feeling that if you left it up to Wanderlei Silva and Mark Hunt to save any show, they would every single time.  1st Star - Wanderlei Silva  When you pass the age of 35 and you've been knocked out cold three times over your last ten fights people start talking. No one wants to see Wanderlei Silva get knocked out again. He has that berzerker mentality and make no mistake he will go out on his shield, with a blaze of glory. Brian Stann could've been that guy, he could've ended Wand's career in the same exact building "The Axe Murderer" destroyed so many others. Instead he became another victim on one of the greatest resumes in mixed martial arts history. Two words. War Wand. Always. Here's to five more finishes just like this, and retiring on his own terms. 2nd Star - Mark Hunt  Want highlight reel finishes? Mark Hunt's got 'em. This 5 foot 10 inch tall Kiwi doesn't exactly look like the best physical specimen the Octagon has ever seen but he gets the job done nonetheless. His current four-fight winning streak is the longest in the UFC's heavyweight division, and his ko's over Tuchscherer, Kongo and Struve during that streak are ones that we'll be playing over and over until the end of time. 3rd Star - Hyun Gyu Lim   Hyun Gyu Lim has been all over the place since he began his MMA career back in '06. After finding a home in the Guam based Pacific Xtreme Combat promotion the UFC brass felt that he was causing just a little too much ruckus to ignore any longer. Lim continued do do what he does best in UFC debut - finish fights. Lim was forced to deal with Guimaraes' relentless telegraped takedown attempts for the better part of two rounds. Instead of heading into a third one "The Ace" just decided to let his opponent walk right into his knee and end the fight himself. Gyu Lim has officially arrived stateside, don't expect him to be fighting on facebook next time around.
