The New Jersey State Athletic Commission has medically suspended 13 athletes who competed in Saturday’s “World Series of Fighting 2” event. Several of the fighters were issued indefinite bans, including Andrei Arlovski (pictured) and Anthony Johnson, who met in last night’s main event. Arlovski may have broken his jaw and will have to be examined by an oral surgeon before returning to action. Johnson, meanwhile, said after his unanimous decision victory that he may have fractured his right hand at some point during their 15-minute affair. “Rumble” needs clearance from an orthopaedic doctor before coming back. Revel Resorts & Casino in Atlantic City hosted Saturday’s festivities. Here is the card’s official IR list (courtesy of MixedMartialArts.com): Anthony Johnson: Suspended indefinitely, pending orthopaedic clearance of right hand. Andrei Arlovski: Suspended indefinitely, pending oral surgeon clearance of jaw. Tyson Nam: Suspended 30 days, for KO. Marlon Moraes: Suspended indefinitely, pending x-rays of right hand and right foot. Paulo Filho: Suspended indefinitely, pending CT head scan; 30 days for recovery. Josh Burkman: Suspended indefinitely, pending x-ray of right wrist/hand. Aaron Simpson: Suspended indefinitely, pending CT head scan and facial bones; 60 days for KO. Gesias Cavalcante: Suspended 60 days, for laceration. Justin Gaethje: Suspended indefinitely, pending x-ray of right thumb.
