UFC officials announced today that a welterweight bout between Claude PAtrick and James Head has been signed for UFC 149.
UFC 149 takes place July 21 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The event will be headlined by a featherweight title bout between current UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and top contender Erik Koch.

Brian Ebersole shaves sponsor name into chest at UFC 140
Fighters rely on sponsors to supplement their fight purses, and will sometimes come up with creative ways to advertise their sponsor. Brian Ebersole, who has shaved an arrow into his chest hair for previous fights, had the logo for Tapout manscaped onto his chest for his win over Claude Patrick.
That's some dedication to a sponsor, folks. Whoever actually did the shaving deserves...

Brian Ebersole halted Claude Patrick's win streak by winning a razor-close split decision at UFC 140 in Toronto on Saturday. The judges saw it 29-28, 28-29, 29-28 for Ebersole.
