‘Bellator MMA: Aliev vs. Marshall’ Weigh-In Results
The official weigh-ins for “Bellator MMA: Aliev vs. Marshall” took place Wednesday in California.
All four Bellator Featherweight Tournament semifinal bouts will appear in the Thursday’s show. Frodo Khasbulaev and Marlon Sandro (both pictured) headline the gig.

At Bellator 82 Andrey Koreshkov remained undefeated as he won a hard fought bout against Lyman Good. With the win Koreshkov captured the season 7 welterweight tournament and earned a shot at the Bellator world title. However, the “Bellator moment” occurred when middleweight brawler Doug Marshall needed just 22 seconds to dispatch of Kala Hose.

Bellator 82 Results: Koreshkov emerges as Season 7 Welterweight King
The Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan would be the setting for Bellator Fighting Championship's 82nd fight card. This would be the first time that the promotion where titles are earned, not given, would visit the state of Michigan. Judging from the sound and the fury of the crowd - it likely won't be the last.

The Season 7 Welterweight Tournament comes to a conclusion when Lyman Good takes on Andrey Koreshkov at Bellator 82 on November 30th.
Good and Koreshkov both successfully made weight on Thursday at the official weigh-ins in Michigan.

Former MLB pitcher Charlie Lea dies in Tenn. at 54
Charlie Lea, who was the first French-born pitcher to throw a no-hitter in the major leagues, has died. He was 54.
Collierville Police Lt. Doug Marshall confirmed Friday night that Lea was found dead at his home by his wife at about 4:30 p.m. The cause of death was not immediately known.
Born in Orleans, France, Lea pitched from 1980 until 1988. He spent six seasons with the Montreal...
