News: Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Johnson Set for UFC on FOX Sports 1 in Boston
Another match-up is in the works for the inaugural UFC on FOX Sports 1 event in Boston. Lightweights Joe Lauzon and Michael Johnson are expected to meet inside the octagon on August 17th. The news was first revealed by MMAWeekly.comand was later confirmed by UFC officials.

As expected, Joe Lauzon (pictured) will be performing in front of his hometown when the Octagon returns to Boston. The lightweight confirmed Monday evening he’ll meet Michael Johnson at UFC on FS1 1 on August 17.
Lauzon is looking to bounce back from December’s thrilling unanimous decision defeat to Jim Miller. J-Lau has won three of his past five scraps.
