The NASCAR season is back upon us and it is time to get you caught up with everything that happened in the offseason. Start ‘N’ Park Blog will be going through their list of drivers running the full schedule in 2013 and telling you what you can expect from those drivers in the new year. Today’s entry is the driver of the #22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford, Joey Logano. Driver: Joey Logano #22 Sponsor(s): Shell/Pennzoil/AAA Make: Ford Team: Penske Racing Crew Chief: Todd Gordon 2012 Finish: 17th What’s new for 2013: As with teammate Brad Keselowski, this team is moving to Fords in 2013 and has Joey Logano as the new driver taking over for Sam Hornish, Jr. who was moved back to the Nationwide Series. Mike’s Rank: 11th Mike’s Take: Logano is one of my first stretch picks, I think he picks up a win (or two) and will get in via the wildcard. Once there, probably won’t do anything, but making the Chase will be a great result for him and his team. Jason’s Rank: 17th Jason’s Take: Logano will have some problems adjusting to everything new this season and those issues will hurt his ability to have good finishes. Logano will just not have enough consistency to come close to the Chase. Brandon’s Rank: 15th Brittany’s Rank: 8th Brittany’s Take: High hopes for Logano joining Penske Racing, one perk is he’s gotten to a lot of football games in the off-season.
