MORESVILLE, N.C. – Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced today that Bandit Industries – a leading manufacturer of equipment for the tree service, logging, biomass, land clearing and wood waste recycling industries – will be the primary sponsor of Parker Kligerman’s No. 77 Camry in the season-opening NASCAR Nationwide Series DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway Feb. 23.
Additionally, the Michigan-based company will serve as a primary sponsor at their home-state race, June 15 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, as a co-primary for three additional races on the 2013 Nationwide Series schedule – March 16 at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, April 12 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth and May 4 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway – and an associate sponsor for two events – Kentucky Speedway in Sparta June 29 and Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway July 6.
“We’re pleased to continue our involvement as a team sponsor in NASCAR and excited to be doing so this season with Kyle Busch Motorsports and Parker Kligerman,” said Bandit Industries NASCAR Coordinator Travis Lint. “With one of NASCAR’s biggest stars as its owner and a talented young driver behind the wheel, we feel that our partnership with KBM will create tremendous awareness for our brand and help drive traffic to BanditChippers.com and all of our other evolving social media channels.”
“It’s an honor to be representing Bandit Industries, their nearly 450 employees and over 150 worldwide dealer locations through this partnership,” Kligerman said. “Kyle (Busch) has put a terrific staff in place — both in the shop and in the front office — that is committed to all-around success and I’m confident that we will make this partnership a winning venture for everyone involved.”
Kligerman, who begins his first full-season in the Nationwide Series, has captured one pole and registered five top-10 finishes across 18 career NASCAR Nationwide Series starts. Superspeedway in October, captured two pole awards and collected eight top-five and 15 top-10 finishes en route to a fifth-place finish in the final Truck Series driver’s point standings.
In its inaugural Nationwide Series campaign, KBM registered 1 win, 3 poles, 15 top-five and 22 top-10 finishes en route to an eighth-place finish in the final owner’s point standings. The team recorded eight top-five and 12 top-10 finishes over the last 13 races of the season.
