After many seasons with NBC Sports, Dale Earnhardt Jr. now has a couple of new homes, where he’ll be broadcasting NASCAR-related content and serving as a member of the booth once again.

It was already announced earlier this year that Earnhardt Jr. would be joining Amazon Prime Video when they broadcast some NASCAR races in 2025, but now it’s been revealed that isn’t the only spot he’s landing. Earnhardt Jr. will also join the booth when NASCAR is on TNT Sports next season.

Adam Stern of the Sports Business Journal helped confirm the news on social media, adding that the NASCAR Hall of Famer will also provide digital and social content co-produced by his Dirty Mo Media brand.

“.@PrimeVideo + @WBD today are formally confirming they have signed @DaleJr in separate broadcast deals to become part of their NASCAR booth talent starting in 2025,” Stern noted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Earnhardt to also participate in a @BleacherReport digital/social content series co-produced by @DirtyMoMedia.”

Moreover, the news was hinted at by Andrew Marchand of The Athletic earlier this season, when he announced Earnhardt Jr. would be moving to Amazon for 2024.

“The biggest name in NASCAR is on the move,” Marchand wrote, earlier this year. “Dale Earnhardt Jr. is leaving NBC and heading to racing newcomers Amazon Prime Video and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, sources briefed on his decision told The Athletic.”

“Earnhardt is expected to take this season off and then resume his broadcasting career in 2025 when WBD Sports and Amazon begin their coverage.”

Additionally, Marchand noted the interesting future of NASCAR broadcasting, which opened the door for Earnhardt Jr. in 2025.

“NASCAR moved to four partners in its latest TV contracts, remaining with incumbents NBC and Fox, who will continue to air 14 races in 2025 to go along with WBD Sports and Amazon’s combined 10,” Marchand wrote. “The overall NASCAR deals are for seven years and an estimated $7.7 billion dollars in total.

“The current season remains exclusively on Fox and NBC. In 2025, Amazon and WBD Sports will join the coverage and they each will build around Earnhardt.”

While you can still hear Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s insight on his podcast platform, it’ll be awesome to have him back calling races in 2025, after taking a season off this summer/fall. He’ll be welcomed back with open arms, with NASCAR’s two newest providers.
