STATESVILLE, N.C. – This weekend David Ragan will be completing his first season with Front Row Motorsports (FRM) as the driver of the No. 34 Ford. Ragan, 26, joined the organization in late January and has piloted the FRM 34 Ford in all events this year. He has collected two top-10 and one top-five finishes this season. His best result came at Talladega in October when he crossed the line in the fourth position. Ragan has helped Front Row Motorsports add more top finishes to the organization and is in position, along with teammate David Gilliland, to have both team cars finish inside the top-30 in points. This will continue to prove the yearly improvement of Front Row Motorsports. Ragan, currently 28th in driver points, comes to Homestead with one top-10 finish at the track in his five previous starts. He is hoping for a solid run to solidify FRM in the top-30 in points and to prepare for 2013. David Ragan Comments on Homestead: “As my first season ends with Front Row Motorsports, I want to thank everyone associated with the team and organization. I’ve got to thank Bob (Jenkins, team owner), Jerry Freeze (General Manager), Jay (Guy, crew chief) and everyone on my crew. I think everyone worked really hard this year. We expected a little bit more, but now we can concentrate on working on what’s next. “I’d like the opportunity to come back with Front Row Motorsports in 2013. We have had some discussions about that, but don’t have anything locked up just yet. I think those are the talks we have over the off-season, but I feel we’re all in this together. We know where we can make some improvements. We made some strides forward this year, but we all know that there is still a lot of room to grow. I’d like to be a part of that. “I think Front Row Motorsports is really one of the few organizations that have the ability to really make another big leap forward next year. Looking around, everyone can improve, but I think Front Row can really make a big leap with the right pieces. It’s really a great team and I’ve enjoyed myself here. I hope I can return in 2013 and be part of the continued growth.”
