Denny Hamlin says he's ready for his feud with Joey Logano to be finished after the NASCAR drivers nearly got physical last week at Bristol.
Logano isn't quite so sure it's over, because he's still waiting for an apology.
The former teammates haven't spoken since their collisions on the track carried into a post-race confrontation in Tennessee. Hamlin won the pole and Logano finished sixth in qualifying at Fontana on Friday, suggesting they could be close to each other again this weekend.
Logano attempted to lean into Hamlin's car after the Bristol race, furious because Hamlin spun him late. Hamlin says he was just responding to Logano's dangerous driving.
Hamlin then ripped Logano's driving abilities, making remarks Hamlin now regrets.

Joey Logano threw a block on Tony Stewart during NASCAR's Auto Club 400 on Sunday and Stewart responded by throwing punches on Logano.

Stewart was mad at Logano for blocking him during a late restart. “Smoke” explained his anger in a post-fight interview. (We’ll have video and more when we get it).

Can't we all just get along?
Denny Hamlin once called Joey Logano his teammate. After last Sunday's run-in at Bristol Motor Speedway between the two drivers, Hamlin dismissed Logano's indignation later that night on Twitter with a simple, "hush, little child."
However, Hamlin's tune softened slightly on Friday.
"As far as I'm concerned, there...
After last week’s melt down it figured that drivers Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin would race each other for the win at Auto Club Speedway.
The two drivers raced each other during the final laps but in turn three of the last lap got into each other allowing Kyle Busch to steal the win.
Logano finished sixth while Hamlin received a ambulance ride.
