The Brickyard 400, officially dubbed as the  “Crown Royal Presents the Curtiss Shaver400 at the Brickyard powered by” is only 9 days away. Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), the 2.5 mile oval track has the second highest purse in NASCAR; with only the Daytona 500 ahead of it. This year is the first year the speedway is having three major events run over a four day period. The Super Weekend will consist of  the GRAND-AM ROLEX Series Race, the Nationwide Series Race and Brickyard 400. The NASCAR Nationwide Series race is the first time the Nationwide cars have raced at the infamous speedway. The Sprint Cup Series cars have been racing there since 1994, when Jeff Gordon took home the first ever checkered flag at the speedway.
