PLAYERS: Michael Waltrip
NASCAR legend Michael Waltrip came across plenty of success during his time behind the wheel, but apparently all his skill didn’t transfer over to his broadcasting position with FOX Sports. While he was doing some prep work on Monday at the Auto Club 400 race, Waltrip thought he saw famous singer Donna Summers and hustled over to see her, even singing one of her more popular songs as he approached the woman he assumed to be Summers. The only problem is, of course, that Summers died two years ago. Waltrip doesn’t appear to recognize his mistake at first, but maybe next time he’ll think before offering praise to confused strangers. Check out Waltrip’s error in the video below.
