Paulie Harraka will not drive the No. 5 truck for Saturdays NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway. Harraka has been driving the Wauters Motorsports Ford As he completes his rookie season in the truck series.
Ted Musgrave joined the team to help Harraka’s learning on the track. Since the addition of Musgrave the team has shown improved results.
Scott Riggs will drive the No. 5 truck as Harraka and team owner Richie Wauters work out a plan for the remainder of the season.
“Paulie has grown a tremendous amount as a racecar driver this season, without question. He has continually shown the work ethic and dedication to keep learning, and the halfway point in the season marks the perfect time to take a step back and analyze everything we’ve done together up to this point.” said Wauters.
Harraka has run 11 races this season. He has not scored a top ten yet but led his first two laps at Chicagoland.
