Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Phoenix International Raceway: “Phoenix is such a great race track. Earlier this year, we finished third so hopefully we can improve on that this time around. We are in a tight championship battle so we have to race smart and make sure we get a solid finish. Valvoline NextGen is making their debut on our No. 6 Ford so it would be great to get them into victory lane.”
Crew chief Mike Kelley on racing at Phoenix International Raceway: “We are bringing one of Ricky’s favorite cars, Maverick. We have to execute on pit-road and dial our No. 6 Valvoline NextGen Ford in to track conditions. We are tied with Elliott(Sadler) atop the leader board. We have two races to win this championship and I’m confident in our No. 6 team. If we have a solid outing then we will leave Phoenix still as the points’ leader.”
