Ryan Newman will assume to seat of the No. 31 Chevrolet SS of Richard Childress Racing in 2014. Previously the No. 31 car was driven by Jeff Burton who has signed a part-time deal with Michael Waltrip Racing. Newman will continue to receive sponsorship from Quicken Loans. In a Sprint Cup career that has spanned 14 seasons, Newman has 17 career wins including one in each of the last four seasons. Newman won at Indianapolis in 2013 and finished 11th in the overall point standings.
