TALLADEGA, Ala. – The No.6 Cargill Beef Ford Mustang was again one of the fastest cars on the track at Talladega Superspeedway before Roush Fenway’s Trevor Bayne was caught up in the middle of a massive crash. Talladega is known for such multi-car accidents and Bayne was knocked out of Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race after 92 laps, landing in 28th place in the Aaron’s 312. “It stinks to have a finish like that,” said Bayne after the race. “There was nothing we could do to really avoid it. I got in the middle of it with nowhere to go.” Before the crash, Bayne and the No. 6 Cargill team were running strong. Bayne led two laps and spent several more in the top ten.
