As if it wasn’t already tough enough to select one — much less just a handful of guys — who could take home the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series trophy, the field continues to be bolstered.
Kyle Larson, who won the K&N Pro East Series championship in just his rookie season will now move to the Nationwide Series full-time for 2013. Larson — a superstar in the making from USAC roots — of course is a development driver from Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing, but he’s anything but a developmental project. Larson is ready to race, and more importantly ready to win.
He won two races in 14 starts during his K&N Pro East Series championship campaign, and he also gained valuable experience in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Larson started a total of four races in the truck series, and he notched three top-ten finishes. He is for real.
