Porter: The Suns’ Killer

How do you kill a team that has a two time NBA most valuable player running the point, an all-NBA first team big man at the power forward spot, and an NBA sixth man of the year award winner coming off the bench? Hire Terry Porter to coach that team. Don’t get me wrong, the Suns’ problems [...]

Shaqovich Explodes About Suns’ Lack Of Defense

Somehow this seems to have been lost in all the hype about tonight’s big game, but the Suns lost a game to the Bulls on Saturday night in what can only be called a futile attempt to even try to win. At home. Not shockingly, Shaquille O’Neal was not happy about the setback, and after [...]

Lawnmower Time

You knew it was Maybe it was our hack-a-Bowen strategy.  Maybe it was the lack of rotation and weak side help on defense.  Maybe it was the fact we didn’t score for almost 5 minutes straight in the 4th But it was probably just that we lost to the During the game, I ...

The Suns and the Wizard of Oz

Maybe it’s because the Suns’ game ended so late, or maybe it’s because they lost to the Spurs again, but the Suns remind me of the Wizard of The Suns have been strolling the yellow “Larry O’Brien Trophy” road for 4 years but at the end of the road there hasn’t been a championship, ...

Bullet points are fun: Suns/Spurs

While I stand by my original thoughts on Suns/Spurs matchups without Coach D present, I can’t deny this is a big game.  Obviously, there’s plenty of history between the teams and Suns vs. Spurs will always make for good theater.  The Spurs are still who we thought they were, and will continue to ...
