Before everyone jumps on the Day, I will just explain, that each day counts as the day Men's games are played, technically it is the third day but the second day of games. Any who, let's run through the games.
USA 110 - Tunisia 63
Although team USA didn't cover the 55 point spread, they did win easily after struggling out of the gate with the twitter world basically losing their mind. Outside of Kevin Durant, the other four starters only chipped in with 17 points. The bench was the different maker in this game as they refused to lose, pulling away with a 39 point third quarter. Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony led all scorers for USA with 16 a piece.
What did we learn about Tunisia? Well, for one, Makram Ben Romdhane can ball. He put up 22 points with 11 rebounds while drawing 8 fouls. Team USA drew 11 combined. This was an emotional experience for Tunisia as they grabbed Kobe's signature on their kicks. They also like to slap each other in the ...
BEST OF MAXIM
Well, that was quite the game yesterday, wasn’t it? Team USA put on a shooting display that I, personally, have never seen been before and I have watched a lot of basketball. Starting with Carmelo Anthony and stopping with Anthony Davis, Team USA showed the world why they are the best.
Old records were broken and new ones were set in Team USA’s 156-73 trouncing of Nigeria...
Carmelo Anthony gets blamed for lots of things that are not his fault. Just ask him if you do not believe me. One thing in particular he has been unfairly ridiculed for recently is Jeremy Lin leaving New York for the Houston Rockets.
Despite glossing Lin the Knicks' Rudy Rudiger in February, and then drowning out the tidal wave of enthusiasm for Linsanity by simply stepping...
Carmelo Anthony scored 37 points on 13-for-16 shooting from the field and 10-for-12 shooting from three-point.
The U.S. team had scored 100 points by the middle of the third quarter. It was that kind of night for the Americans.
Two Olympic marks, several U.S. records fell.
Carmelo Anthony scored 37 points, dropping 10 of 12 3-pointers, and the Americans rewrote the Olympic record book with a scintillating shooting performance and 156-73 win Thursday night, an epic blowout that seemed to...
LONDON (AP) -- The last group in England with this many records was The Beatles. Carmelo Anthony and the U.S. men's Olympic basketball team rewrote the record books Thursday in a 156-73 romp over Nigeria, an epic blowout that answered the Americans' detractors after two opening routs that provoked criticism of their slow starts and outside shooting. They led by 26 in the...

On one of the first days the United States basketball team convened in Las Vegas for a week-long training camp earlier this summer, Blake Griffin was out on the court, working on taking a jab step once with his dribble, then twice, before stepping back to shoot a jumper from the wing.
Then he would do it again.
Alongside Griffin, critiquing his footwork and encouraging him, was...

The HQ guesses this is what happens when you lose to the US reserves 110-63...
Especially when you're a 54-point dog...
The US was actually only up 13 at the break, but a 39-14 third put the game out of reach. The red, white, and blue had 6 in double figures led by Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony who had 16 each...

Killer shooting by America. Black on Black crime, featuring a special appearance by (Kevin) Love. 156 points in 40 minutes. See what happens when Coach K finally decides to let his way-more-talented players play their own game rather than him lowly toned telling them to take charges and pass the ball around apply pressure.
Carmelo Anthony just set the record straight that...
Take one look at David Robinson's NBA resume and you can't help but be impressed by everything he accomplished. There's the two championships, several All-Star selections and being part of the Basketball Hall of Fame. But it's easy to say that among Robinson's favorite memories and one of the things he is proudest of is representing the United States in the Olympics...
