Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant went at each other during their game against the Hornets!
Well it was just a matter of time right? We’ve all heard the rumors of Dwight Howard not being very fond of Kobe Bryant in the past. Well the build up of all the losing the Los Angeles Lakers have been doing and frustration of defensive breakdowns finally came to fruition early in the first...
‘I don’t care if your d*ck is 3x bigger than mine, Dwight Howard. I can hit 70% of my free throws.’ @MedicatedMinute and other Lakers fans are not happy with how their season is unfolding. At 8-10 and 12th in the West, all of the Lakers fans who were guaranteeing championships back in August are suddenly quiet.
The Lakers lost last night 107-105 to the Houston Rockets...
Dwight Howard continues to struggle at the free throw line, but he and Mike D'Antoni believe it is a non-issue.
Similar to Ricky Rubio and backyard wrestling, Dwight Howard gives ghost hunting a try in this new Foot Locker x adidas commercial:
Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant want this partnership in Los Angeles to work. Lakers fans want this partnership to work. But make no mistake about it; there are legitimate reasons why this could fail.
You have Kobe still wanting everyone to know that the Lakers are still his team. And though Howard wants you to believe he’s cool with that, he really isn’t.
And on the flip-side...
There was something different about the night of Sunday, December 2, 2012. Something that is a rarity in modern day professional athletics. Sometimes there are not rational explanations for why unexpected events occur. The numbers do not always tell the entire story and you do not play a basketball game on paper. The only numbers that really mattered on this night were 113 and...
David Stern is at it again, wanting to change the rules of the NBA. This time it's after the Houston Rockets were able to effectively use the "hack-a-Howard" strategy to foul Dwight Howard away from the ball (not just in the final 2 minutes) and earn a comeback victory after Dwight missed about 50% of his free throws.
From NBC Sports:
David Stern is all about the...
I pounded on the Lakers yesterday, and I mine as well do it again. After all, I’m not a huge Kobe Bryant fan nor do I pretty much like anyone on the team. Dwight Howard, the whining baby who wanted out of Orlando, and Co. deserve this sh$t. Thanks to TerezOwens for the picture….
From Dwight Howard's missed free throws to folks crying for Pau Gasol to be shipped out of Los Angeles, The Unsportsmanlike Conduct Show is back in full effect. The post Podcast: The Lakers (Literally) Cannot Trade Pau Gasol appeared first on The Sports Fan Journal.
A let down would have been understandable for the Magic as they traveled upstate from an emotional victory over the Lakers on Sunday night. Even Orlando fans might have excused it thanks to the gravity of what defeating Dwight Howard meant to a lot of fans.
Jacque Vaughn though called it a "typical win."
Again, it certainly was not that. But maybe it is becoming...
HOUSTON -- In complete control for the majority of Tuesday's game, the Los Angeles Lakers collapsed down the stretch and watched the Houston Rockets swipe an improbable 107-105 victory at Toyota Center on Tuesday night. It was not the way the Lakers hoped to open a three-game road trip. The Rockets (9-8) trailed by as many as 17 points and didn't take their first lead...
The Los Angeles Lakers badly need a victory Wednesday night considering the location of the final stop of this week's road trip.
The Lakers will try to avoid their second three-game skid and could again be without Pau Gasol as they take on the New Orleans Hornets.
Los Angeles (8-10) led by as many as 17 points and was still up 13 in the fourth quarter before falling 107-105...
