The San Antonio Spurs (13-4) will return to San Antonio and host the Southwest Division leading Memphis Grizzlies (12-2) at the AT&T Center. The Spurs are coming off an extended six-game road trip where it ended in controversy when head coach Gregg Popovich sat out Tim Duncan, Danny Green, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker against the Heat resulting in the NBA fining the team $250,000. Though the Spurs lost 100-105, the team's second unit gave the Heat's starters a scare and played admirably throughout the game. The Grizzlies are coming off a win over the Pistons where Rudy Gay finished with a game-high 18 points. Marc Gasol grabbed 11 rebounds and Mike Conley scored 17 points in the win. And as these two top teams in the Southwest Division get set to clash tonight in San Antonio, here are five things to watch for during the game: • Memphis has lost 14 of their last 15 regular-season games in San Antonio. • Memphis averages a whopping 9.38 steal per game ...

Heat trying to be like the Spurs

Last night in Miami, the San Antonio Spurs showed why they’ve been one of the top teams in the NBA consistently over the last 15 years: depth. Even without Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson, the Spurs were able to hang with the defending champs for all four quarters. It took an extra period, but the San Antonio...
