Professional athletes are competitive people. Jason Richardson and J.J. Redick are no different. Richardson and Redick are two extremely famous alumni at their former schools — J-Rich of course attended Michigan State while Redick was the face of the Duke Blue Devils for several years. The pair became friends when they both played with the Orlando Magic, although they have since moved on to different teams. So when Michigan State and Duke faced off in the NCAA Tournament just a week ago in the Sweet 16, the players decided to up the stakes with a little bonus wager centered around Twitter. The loser of the bet would receive a full jumpsuit of the winning team’s gear — he would then have to wear it and post it as their Twitter avatar for the remainder of the tournament. Can’t believe I agreed to this bet with @jjredick. Suddenly feel the need to throw up…… twitter.com/jrich23/status… — Jason Richardson (@jrich23) April 2, 2013   As you all know, Duke won the matchup 71-61, so now i...

Bucks Thursday: Redick gets flopping warning

Bucks guard J.J. Redick received a flopping warning from the league Thursday for an incident that occurred March 30 against Oklahoma City. With 2:29 left in the fourth quarter, Redick caught a pass from Monta Ellis and was bumped by Thunder guard Derek Fisher after a shot fake. A foul was called on Fisher, much to the dismay of Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks. The NBA defines...

Jason Richardson Loses Bet To J.J. Redick, Has To Wear Duke Gear Against His Will.

Via: @jrich23 I don’t know if you know this, but there is a college basketball tournament going on right now, and a lot of current NBA players have participated in it, before becoming a professional. And it is for that reason, that many of them still root for their former schools and pride themselves for being once part of something this special. But pride can sometimes make people...

Bucks Mascot Bango Tries To Scare Bucks, Lakers Players

Dwight Howard wasn’t the only player Bango, the Bucks inflatable mascot, tried to scare during the Lakers’ recent trip to Milwaukee. Bango gave his best shot at frightening Monta Ellis, J.J. Redick and a few other Bucks players before attempting to give it a go on the Black Mamba, which apparently can’t be done. The Lakers equipment manager was another story. The poor guy just...

Bucks must continue dominance of Raptors

The Milwaukee Bucks still have yet to lock up a playoff spot, and their chances of finishing seventh in the Eastern Conference seem to be slipping away. The Bucks look to regroup Saturday night when they try to defeat the visiting Toronto Raptors for the 10th straight meeting. Milwaukee (36-39) has dropped 10 of 14 after Friday's 101-83 defeat at New York. The Bucks' magic...

Watch: Attack of the 'Great White Bango'

There's nothing funny about seeing highly paid athletes being scared out of their unsuspecting socks by an 8-foot inflatable mascot. Yea right, it's hilarious.Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango went deep undercover at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on March 28, donning a larger, inflatable Bango costume and standing motionless against a wall as members of both the Bucks and Lakers...

BUCKS MARKETING

Wow, marketing the Bucks…what a tough gig. Welcome back Greg Stioulsma or whatever.  “Remember him, that big white dork on the Badgers?  No not him the other white dork.”  Well guess what he’s coming to play YOUR MILWAUKEE BUCKS.  Lord help us.

32 BUCKS PLAYOFF TICKETS

This is either one of the smartest things I have done or one of the dumbest. Yeah, the above line is a good start to a movie, or a book.  Or a crappy blog.  Whatever works. I own probably more playoff tickets besides someone called Herb Kohl. Here’s the deal and try to follow…  there’s a lot going on here. Here’s the theory: Last time the Milwaukee Bucks played the Miami...

Bucks miss out on chance versus Minnesota

By ANDREI GRESKA FOXSportsWisconsin.com MILWAUKEE -- Ricky Rubio is a magician with the ball in his hands. That is already known. A bit more covert has been his transition from a pass first, second and third point-guard to a viable scoring threat. Just ask the Milwaukee Bucks. Rubio caught fire from beyond the arc in the first half of Minnesota's 107-98 victory Tuesday night...
