Delusions of grandeur: Bill Simmons as NBA GM?

Bill Simmons wants to be GM of the Milwaukee Bucks, and he thinks they're crazy for not considering him as a candidate. "As tragic and depressing as this sounds, other than winning the 2008 lottery, framing LeBron James for a crime or bringing Don Nelson back to Milwaukee, the only realistic way that the Bucks could generate some local and mainstream buzz would be to make me a candidate… just to get their fans chattering, they should have contacted me and thrown my name in the mix, even if they didn't really mean it."

Was he really being serious?

it is part of his schtick

on the other hand, how is hiring Bill Simmons THAT much worse than hiring Steve Kerr?

he is serious, but you gotta remember that we are in the golden age of horrible GMs so i dont think it would be a bad idea. At least it would make some noise up in MIlwaukee cause i think most people dont even know the bucks still exist.

Save the Sonics.....we could be next

sound like he is lookin for sum pub
