Ball Don't Lie:
The New Orleans Hornets announced that they have signed forward Ike Diogu and his enthusiastic pool service staff to a couple of free agent contracts, hoping the team can provide solid backup minutes behind All-Star David West, as well as help get rid of that unsightly algae in the deep end."We're excited to have Ike join our team and expect him to help the frontline off the bench this season," said Hornets General Manager Jeff Bower. "He has shown a lot of potential as an inside scorer and as an effective rebounder."Diogu, who is 6-foot-9, played in 29 games last season for Portland and Sacramento. He averaged 4.1 poi— and you're not even reading this sentence. Never mind.Cheers, HornetsHype.
