  I like KG but taunting someone who is much smaller than you and wagging your finger in his face is classless... Celts are lucky they won that game otherwise KG wouldve looked real dumb... sorry KG i hope you get fined pal

    Come On Are you SERIOUS that was Kevin just mentally messing with Jose Calderon,Everyone knows that the game of Basketball is 90% mental and 10% physical if you can get into your opponents head then you already won half the battle and Calderon held his own and talked SMACK right back to KG,so it was Harmless..No need for a Fine let's Not be like the No Fun League aka NFL..LMAO!!!

      UNCtarheels the reason i say he shouldve been fined is the same thing stefania said below if it was reversed and it was jose calderon doing the taunting it would be a tech and a fine.. NBA refs do suck like everyone of our favorite players have travelin violations outta the a$$ but most refs dont call it because it happens on a big dunk or something.... you're right players talk trash thats part of the game i've done it my whole life playing sports not that im any pro or anything but the thing as a ref you don't let players wag there fingers in someones face its called taunting if it were someone else they'd popped KG right in his mouth... AND I REMIND YOU I AM A KG FAN... thats why Mutumbo cant wag his finger at everyone he blocks he wags it at the crowd... MJ did it to Mutumbo wagged his finger and got t'd up the NBA is taking basketball element out and making it more about entertainment....

        I understand where your coming from and I got nothing but Respect for Kevin Garnett as player,And what He brings to the table every night,But Jose Calderon was taunting right back and if that's the case then Both should of been tech'd,Still it's all in good fun,and sometimes it can go to far..As for Moutombo he would wag his big a## alien finger in your face and that would get annoying,so Jordan got him right back...

    agree with all takes...everyone who can play at a high level talks trash sometimes...it's just natural to the game, i.e. adrenaline...yeah, he should get fined...but who really cares...the old Celtics and Lakers teams used to talk mad trash...it's more watered down now...the C's are a usually humble Team...usually let their play do the talking...yeah, TOR won first 3 quarters...but then like any superstar, Pierce took over in the 4th...no luck there...just a player who can take over a game and was pissed at team's play, in the middle of a 6 games in 8 day stretch...and after expending alot of energy, the night before completely shutting down the Pistons...I like TOR, picking them to be biggest challenge to C's in that division, by far

I will say this bro, C's better get McDyess, or some worthy big Man, or Tor, and a lot of big and fast Eastern teams, will give C's huge fits...and what the heck is going on with the Sixers, so far?, they can rebound like crazy, and they are playing Utah tough, tonight...ah, it's too early, but the East is so much more balanced...yeah, we know, HS sports!, when I would make a nice stick at LB, I would do a little smack-talking, lol, and just from being amped up...serious, was surprised Kevin wasn't t'ed or tossed...he usually doesn't do that crap

  hey man! thats kevin for you. it's how he plays his game and how he shapes other player-wants he's in it's all over it's just his style of play (he wouldn't be the big ticket) now would he if he played any other way.................
