I'm sure nobody stayed up to watch it but the U.S. actually had a close game against Spain. They were only up 4 late in the 4th quarter when Spain just started getting frustrated and taking stupid technical fouls.
But now, order is restored and the U.S. is once again on top of the basketball world.
Huge props to Jerry Colangelo and Mike Krzyzewski getting this team to play...

Larry Brown is back as an NBA coach. Again. According to the Associated Press, the Charlotte Bobcats, who are part-owned by longtime Larry Brown supporter and fellow former Tar Heel Michael Jordan, will hire Brown to be their next coach. So what if they mean it the other way around, when you buy a limited edition Mark D'Antoni/Donnie Walsh T-shirt for $20.08 you get free tickets to November 5th Knicks Game vs. the Bobcats. You also get a Hot Dog a Soda and a Free Bag of chips. This could truly turn into a bargain if Larry Brown and Stephon Marbury get into a fist fight on the court. But... I still think I'm out.

The Knicks' acquisition of guard Anthony Roberson, coupled with the free-agent signing of point guard Chris Duhon, supposedly signals the end of the Stephon Marbury era in New York.
That would likely please most Knick fans, and from the sounds of it, new coach Mike D'Antoni as well.
But I'm here to tell you the Coney Island product should remain in blue-and-orange...
