The Big Lead:
I know the Jessica Alba distraction can really make your head spin, but let's see if anyone knows who the bearded face on Steve Nash's shirt is. The Big Lead threw out some good guesses...Rick Rubin, Eric Clapton, Steve Prefontaine, Gregg Allman, Allen Ginsberg, Drew Gooden. I'm going on a limb to say it's not the last choice. Remember, Steve is a Canadian who likes classic rock. So Clapton and Allman may be on the right track. Answer to be provided next week.

I'm going with Shel Silverstein.
-
I'm gonna take "The Dude" from the Big Lebowski
-
The Dude is way prettier than that.
-
My guess is Clapton. He's so cool that i can see him not being able to rock white shirts anymore, and that he'd have gone a few shades darker to grey by now.

Billy Bob Thornton

Gordon Lightfoot
-
Nash himself in disguise.
-
It's totally Clapton
-
Looks like Rubin to me

Sorry, I lied. I never had the answer.

Nash Hangs Out With… Jessica Alba?
Suns' Steve Nash went out to lunch with pregnant Jessica Alba and her fiancé Cash Warren on Wednesday in Beverly Hills. Talk about random. This totally shakes up my image of Steve Nash. He is supposed to spend every non-basketball moment doing charity work, being a family man, and acting like he hates fame.
Santa is a Laker! LA beat Phoenix 122-115
The Lakers, a quickly developing young team, ruined Christmas on Planet Orange with an impressive 122-115 win over the Suns.
It was Kobe leading the way, a game-high 38 points, but it was Bynum doing most of the damage. Andrew, under the keen look of his Hall of
Sexy Poses and Sweaty Palms
Post-camp (Thanks to Coach Chancellor for making a stop through!) we departed for New Orleans where I had a photo shoot for the Lynx. The photo shoot went great besides the fact that my agent lindsay and my friend tay teamed up and decided that I should show some skin in this photo shoot. Needless to say, spicing things up was a little awkward at first, but then
after I saw? I...
Amaré plays big as Suns walk over Clippers 108-88
If you can't defend the painted area, attack it ! That was the game plan last night in the Suns 108-88 easy victory against the Clippers.
The Suns went to Stoudemire for the first four possesions of the game and established the inside game early on. It took three minutes to see a Sun not named Amaré take a shot (a missed mid-ramge jumper from Grant Hill with 9:10 left in the quarter).
Agent Spotlight: Lindsay Kagawa
In a recent piece on Lindsay Kagawa ("Sports agent no devil, but wears Prada"), head of the newly created Women's Elite Division for Bill Duffy's BDA Sports, columnist Marcus Thompson II seems to fawn, just a little: "Kagawa, an Albany native, is what they call a postmodern businesswoman, the smoothie you'd get by mixing Ellen DeGeneres and Victoria Beckham...

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Lakers found themselves on the receiving end of a Christmas miracle earlier this week when they pulled out a victory over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.

Dallas Mavericks 102, Chicago Bulls 94
The Bulls played a inspired game last night but they fell just a tad short in Dallas. Ben Gordon led the way for the Bulls with 25 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Drew Gooden was solid again off the bench for the Bulls as he finished with 17 points, 8 [...]
Grading the NBA Trades
With the NBA trade deadline in the rearview mirror I thought I would grade the flurry of additions to each team involved. Cleveland-Chicago-Seattle
