The Nets are going to be an interesting team this year. They can be a tough matchup on some nights, and they could get destroyed on others. So the team is making it easy on its fans who don't want to leave the arena in shame. That's because the Nets are giving away reversible team jerseys, with the opponent's jersey on one of the sides. So if the Nets get smoked by, say, Cleveland on January 2nd... fans can just flip their Jarvis Hayes jersey into a LeBron jersey and skip out of the building. You'll probably notice a C's jersey in there. They're part of the mix, but that game is in November, and the fine print says the jerseys will be delivered in December. So Nets fans will just have to sit there and absorb that blowout in shame. It's bandwagon jumping made easy, courtesy of the New Jersey Nets. Because when you don't care enough to put a winning product on the floor... you might as well make it easy for your fans to switch allegiances.

The Nets Are Really Really Desperate to Sell Tickets
Just how desperate are the Nets to sell tickets this season? Desperate enough to sell jerseys of their opponents. Oh the hilarity. But fear not you could decide to wear the Jarvis Hayes side instead of the Lebron side if you in fact are a New Jersey Net fan. But considering the probability that anybody is a New Jersey Net fan, I find that highly doubtful. And just to top off the...

Department of Shameless Promotion
Posted by Kevin Arnovitz It's not unusual for struggling franchises to use elite visiting teams as vehicles to get bodies inside the building. Fans of the Clippers, Hawks, Sixers have all seen splashy ads in the daily sports section trumpeting a multi-game package that will offer them glimpses of LeBron, Kobe, KG, D-Wade, and 'Melo. The New Jersey Nets have taken that model...
Becoming the new point man
Milwaukee native Devin Harris isn't bashful when it comes to talking about his role with the New Jersey Nets.
Vince Carter is gone, sent to Orlando this summer in a cost-cutting trade that has left the Nets with zero members of their former Big Three.
Before Carter left the Meadowlands scene, it was Richard Jefferson going to the Milwaukee Bucks (for one season) and Jason Kidd...
