The "Chill Out, Juwan Howard" Chronicle, Part 3
Tracking Juwan Howard's ill-fated stint with the Portland Trailblazers...Chill out, Juwan Howard. You don't have to be in every picture during the minuscule time you're on the court. We get it, you're in the NBA. The constant reminders and "did you see me cutting down the lane" is a little ostentatious. Andre Miller is doing what he can to get you the...
Nolan Smith Goes The Raymond Felton Route
Duke guard Nolan Smith will sit the first two games of the regular season for playing in an unsanctioned summer basketball league in Washington, DC. If you recall, UNC lost Raymond Felton for the 2004-05 opener against Santa Clara due to a similar infraction. UNC lost that game. You know what that means? Who needs to score 80+ points anyway???
Not the Bobcats. They scored just 79 points monday night against the Nets, but still managed to walk away with an 11 point win. This game was not pretty to watch ( The Bobcats had a 10 point first quarter... The Nets trumped that with a 7 point third ) but a win is a win is a win. And 2-2 feels a lot better than 1-3.
DJ Augustin was large this game with 21 points and 3 steals off...
