It's looking clearer and clearer that the Bulls will be taking Derrick Rose with the No. 1 pick, so much of the attention in the draft is turning to the Miami Heat, who are slated to select second.
Michael Beasley is the obvious choice at No. 2, but the Heat's words and actions behind the scenes continue to point to a possible trade if Rose goes No. 1.

Erik Celino Spoelstra was named as the new head coach of Miami Heat after Pat Riley stepped down. I'm not really familiar with this Spoelstra and I was thrilled to find out that he's a Filipino-American. Spoelstra's mother hails from San Pablo, Laguna and his father is a Dutch-Irish.

Yet another name is now popping up on the Sixers free agent radar. I think this will continue to happen as the chances we land Elton Brand continue to die. And ss of right now the Sixers can't completely blow Atlanta out of the market by offering Josh Smith a contract the Hawks can't afford to match, which leaves all the cards still in Atlanta's favor.
