Larry Brown Sports:
Aaron Brooks had some crazy stats during the Sacramento Kings’ season-opening game on Wednesday. Brooks had 7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 broken tooth.
The backup guard broke one of his teeth diving for a loose ball while guarding Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich. As Brooks was going for the ball, Hinrich landed on top of him, planting his face straight into the floor at the United Center in Chicago.
It was a nice effort from Brooks, who played 23 minutes in his first NBA action in two seasons after spending last season in China. His Kings came up short though, losing to the Bulls 93-87.
I suppose the good news is at least he didn’t lose his teeth in another player’s elbow, which actually has happened in past NBA seasons.

Roger Dreyer, the attorney who represented the NBA team and injured swingman Francisco Garcia, told the newspaper the settlement amount was confidential...
Sacramento Kings fan Zach Stochl is a man of his word. He made some sort of a bet with a friend and went under the needle last night to pay up with a giant smiling Greg Oden photo tattooed to his ass. Yes, Greg Oden’s smiling mug is permanently on Zach’s ass.
I was just making my normal Greg Oden rounds and this is what I find.
I can’t sleeping knowing what is...

The Kings lost, and that's that. Here is the Boxscore. I was going to do the 4 Factors, but I don't feel like calculating Pace and Possessions to do it right now. Maybe in the morning when I'm not in such a "I'm going to conk out" type of mood. Some observations and then I'm nodding off.
* Tyreke Evans was clearly the best player on the Kings tonight...
It's never weird to see famous people sitting courtside but during tonight's Chicago Bulls/Sacramento Kings affair, a couple of Nintendo legends or at least guys in costume showed up.Check out Mario and Luigi watching the game courtside...Clearly, Princess Peach wanted to let the guys have a night out...
Tonight, after what seemed like a 200 bajillion-year wait, the Wolves open the year at home vs. Sacramento (doesn't it feel like we always open against the Kings?). Finally. No Love or Rubio of course, but Roy and AK47 will be ready for active duty and immediate fan judgment. That being said, since everybody LOVES bullets, here are ten random musings/bullets to look out for as...
