Found January 07, 2013 on NBA Injury News:
Stephen Jackson's injury is about as freak as they come on the basketball court.  A waitress squatting down to serve New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg a drink found herself under the San Antonio Spurs' Stephen Jackson when he stepped back after a three point attempt.  The waitress' location was just right to cause Jackson to go down in a heap and come up limping.  Jackson suffered a sprained ankle, and now his coach is calling for less sideline activity during games.Greg Popovich spoke out to media about the incident and called it "maddening."  According to Mike Monroe of the San Antonio Express-News, Popovich has called on the NBA to monitor and cut back on activity taking place along the sidelines during NBA games. “It’s an accident waiting to happen.”Popovich went on to say that Jackson was 50-50 for Monday night's game against the New Orleans Hornets. The injury is certainly frustrating, but court-side seats in the NBA are a hot commodity.  As long as they are as expensive as they are and come with as much prestige, there will be VIP service.  It unlikely that anything changes as a result of Jackson's injury. Jackson has averaged a dissapointing 6.9 points and 1.5 assists per game so far this season.  In his career, Jackson has averaged 15.7 points and 3.2 assists per game.  Jackson has already had to miss one game because of the ankle injury.  He will be a game-time decision tonight. Gregg Popovich thinks food and drinks shouldn’t be ordered court-side during games

Gregg Popovich doesn’t like many things. He doesn’t like using the word “Happy” during basketball games. He doesn’t like that there is a 3-point line.
