Al Horford is a scratch from Friday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets due to a hamstring injury.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore reports that Horford is dressing but won't play unless the Hawks are in an emergency situation. The former Florida Gators' hamstring has been bothering him for a week to 10 days.
Horford is averaging 15.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, .8 steals and .9 blocks in 36.8 minutes.
Josh Smith will return to the starting lineup after a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.
