Found November 11, 2013 on Pro Sports Daily:
The Nets are having growing pains. They are trying to build chemistry with a revamped roster while also trying to find the right lineups that make their players most effective. In spite of this, the Nets 5 core players are still expected to produce. Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez have done their part through 6 games, and Paul Pierce has done so as well to a certain extent. Deron Williams is still working his way back from an ankle injury that made him miss all but one preseason game. Then there is Kevin Garnett, who has been underwhelming to say the least. Garnett was supposed to anchor a Nets defense that was a little more than average last season, allowing an average of 95 points per game, but allowing their opponents to shoot 46% from the floor, near the bottom of the league. Through 6 games, KG has not been the defensive enforcer Billy King brought him to be. The Nets' opponents are scoring more 100 points per game even though they are shooting a bit less than last year'...

It's still early, but some of the Brooklyn Nets' elder statesmen are getting tired of losing

Since his trade from the Timberwolves to the Celtics, Kevin Garnett hasn't been used to losing very much. So far in his Nets tenure, he hasn't dealt with much winning either When the Brooklyn Nets traded for Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Jason Terry this summer -- and signed Andrei Kirilenko, Alan Anderson and Shaun Livingston -- general manager Billy King...

Garnett struggling, but Pierce says he’ll adjust

Paul Pierce is in his seventh season playing alongside Kevin Garnett, teammates since the Celtics traded for Garnett and Ray Allen in the summer of 2007. And they’ve been friends since the two of them were in high school. So if anyone could identify the cause of Garnett’s rough start this season, it’s his longtime pal. On Monday, Pierce said he thinks Garnett still will need...

Paul Pierce Dumping Dull Boston-area Home For $2.65 Million

Patience is a virtue, and one the Nets need to have

Jason Kidd has coached four games this year (missing the first two due to his DUI suspension), winning one (Utah) and losing three (Orlando, Washington, Indiana) It's pretty fair to say the beginning of the new NBA season hasn't exactly gone to plan for the Brooklyn Nets and new head coach Jason Kidd. The Nets are 0-3 on the road, losing to subpar opponents in...

The Brooklyn Nets have re-assigned forward Tornike Shengelia to the Springfield Armor of the NBA Development League. Shengelia, who was assigned to Springfield on November 7 and recalled to Brooklyn on November 9, will rejoin the Armor for the team’s training camp.

Ray Allen Disappointed KG & Pierce Still Don’t Speak to Him

They say time heals all wounds, but it appears this might just take a little longer to pass over than usual. Ray Allen apparently still hasn’t spoken to former teammates Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. Paul Pierce is selling his Boston-area home

Former Boston Celtics' captain Paul Pierce took another step to distance himself from the place he called home for 15 years. From the Boston Globe: Just a few weeks after Kevin Garnett put his house in Concord on the market, another former Boston Celtic is selling his place. Longtime C’s captain and current Brooklyn Nets forward (and Garnett teammate still) Paul Pierce is...

Buy the Truth’s house in Lincoln for $2.6 million

Paul Pierce’s 7,600 square foot home in Lincoln is up for sale. 5 bedrooms, 7 gigantic bathrooms and one kick-ass man cave. KG’s place in Concord is also on the market, but Pierce’s place is more my style. If you guys would only click on those damn banner ads, I might be able to afford the upgrade. (h/t Boston Globe)

Game 6 Recap: Pacers 96, Nets 91. The One Where Joe's Equalizer Didn't Go

Deron's first double-double of the season (17 points and 10 assists) wasn't enough to lead a successful Nets comeback against the Pacers The Nets played pretty well last night at Barclays, but not well enough to hand the Indiana Pacers their first loss of the new season. Indiana improved to 7-0 last night after holding onto a late fourth quarter lead over a Nets...

Ray Allen says Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce have not spoken to him since he joined the Heat

image from: The reverberations from the splitting up of the 2008 Boston Celtics team that won the NBA Finals have spread far and wide from Oklahoma City with the trading of Kendrick Perkins, to Miami with the departure of Ray Allen, to Brooklyn with the departures of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, to of course Boston itself with only Rajon Rondo as the remaining member of...

Ray Allen hasn't heard from Paul Pierce or Kevin Garnett since summer of 2012; "No duh," says all Celtics fans

The Kubler-Ross model of processing loss may not have been written about Boston sports fans, but it might as well have been. The Kubler-Ross model, better known as the five stages of grief include the following: Denial Anger  Bargaining  Depression  Acceptance  When Ray Allen decided to leave the Boston Celtics and signed with the Miami Heat for less money and a worse overall...
