That NBA Lottery Pick:
While most NBA players don't mind going to night clubs, it appears that Denver Nuggets guard Andre Igoudala is a guy that prefers to chill instead of hitting the hottest night club.Andre recently did a Q&A with the fine folks over at GQ and explained his issues with going to night clubs and it appears that his number one pet peeve is the noise:And you don't care about going out to clubs or whatever? I think it's just once you've seen one you've seen it all. With the exception of maybe Vegas or Miami once or twice, other than that it's all the same to me. I can't hear anything in the club with the loud music, so you're in there and you're like, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU BECAUSE OF THE LOUD MUSIC." I hate that, yelling back and forth. And I don't drink, so it's kind of pointless.
BEST OF MAXIM
Some things you just have to see to believe.
Case-in-point...the insane circus shot that Kevin Durant hit Friday night in Denver against the Nuggets.
Now, we all know that the air is thinner in the Mile High City, which could be the only possible explanation for the amount of hang time Durant achieve this "Shot of the Year" candidate.
Starting at the top of the left...
Remember, folks, not all NBA players follow the Kris Humphries stereotype. Recently the Denver Nuggets’ Andre Iguodala sat down for an interview with GQ which, while largely sticking to basketball, does get into some off-topic subjects with the guard. So beyond learning what it’s like to play in the thin air of Denver and what Iguodala thinks of Jrue Holiday as a player, we also...
Wilson Chandler tied his career high with 35 points and Ty Lawson's jumper with 0.2 seconds left lifted the Denver Nuggets to a 105-103 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night.
Guarded tightly by Thabo Sefolosha, Lawson swished his jumper from just inside the 3-point arc on the right wing. With no time to catch and shoot, the Thunder failed to get off a final tip...
The Denver Nuggets mascot came prepared for Russell Westbrook on Friday night. Prior to the game, Rocky the mascot, tried to settle things with the Thunder guard who didn’t pay him a shred of attention. More importantly, in the second half, Rocky brought a security detail for his traditional half court shot attempts that was blocked last time the Nuggets and Thunder met by Westbrook.
Cue the music. Move it like Bern is happening. Has been way too long since I moved it like Bern so I think today is a good day to do it. Ty Lawson creates enough space to put a shot up over Thabo for the win. Just the Nuggets quietly sneaking up the Western Conference ranks. Iggy is playing better. No big deal here.
Move it like Bern.
