My frustration with the 76ers has officially it an all time high. Despite losing Thad Young to a hamstring injury, they had three straight wins and seemed like they were beginning to find their stride and could make a run at the playoffs. Tonight they played a good Indiana Pacers who were playing their third game in three days. It seemed as though the Sixers could steal a win from Indiana and continue their hot streak. The Sixers not only lost tonight but it was one of the more uglier games we have seen this year. This game, along with the Andrew Bynum progress update earlier this week has made fans’ frustrations shoot through the roof.
This post however is not about the team and their struggles, it is about the utter frustration that comes with everything dealing with Andrew Bynum this season. When Bynum was first traded to the Sixers this offseason there was jubilation. The Sixers had not had a super star like this since Allen Iverson was in his prime. The team was coming off a de...

76ers Injury News: Thaddeus Young out three weeks with hamstring
The Philadelphia 76ers received some disappointing news yesterday. Small forward Thaddeus Young will miss at least three weeks with a strained hamstring. Thaddeus Young out three weeks with hamstring strain
Thaddeus Young is out three weeks with a hamstring strain. Sixers coach Doug Collins hinted Monday night that Young would "be out for a while."
An MRI revealed Tuesday that Young suffered a Grade 1 strain, the least severe, 76ers beat writer Jason Wolfe reported. A Grade 3 strain would have been a complete tear of the muscle.
So Young is on the better side of his...
Dorell Wright shows signs of life with 9-8-3-1-2 line
Jason Richardson's potentially season-ending knee surgery is bad news for the Sixers, but potentially good news for Dorell Wright.
Wright's minutes have been erratic, but he played 30 minutes Wednesday, finishing with a fantasy-friendly line of nine points (4-8 FG), a three, eight rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks.
Keep in mind that in his last two games...
Sixers Sign G Jeremy Pargo To 10 Day Contract
Jrue Holiday is fatigued, and so the Sixers went out and got him some help, I guess. The Star Ledger is reporting that the 76ers have signed guard Jeremy Pargo to a 10 day contract.
Shelvin Mack’s second 10-day contract had expired Wednesday night, and the team didn’t want to sign Mack for the remainder of the season, nor handicap themselves towards the trade deadline.
Pargo...

Thaddeus Young Out 3 Weeks With Hamstring Strain
As if the Sixers front line wasn’t thin enough, they will now have to play 3 weeks without starting power forward, Thaddeus Young who is averaging 15 points and 7.4 rebounds a game. He has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer:
A 76ers spokesman said that forward Thaddeus Young has a Grade One left hamstring strain and will likely...

Sixers Sign Jeremy Pargo
Well they've done it again.
The Sixers have signed Jeremy Pargo to a 10-day contract, the team announced today in a press release. No corresponding move will be required, as the team had several open roster spots after deciding not to re-sign Shelvin Mack when his second 10-day deal expired.

Injury Bug Bites Young
Last night's victory over the Orlando Magic was the least bit impressive.
The victory was not the night's biggest story; Thaddeus Young's injury was. Young suffered a left hamstring strain during second quarter of the Sixers 78-62 victory over the Magic. News came back, but Young did not.
Today, Young went and got an MRI done on the hamstring and it revealed that he has...
