Cavaliers fans sometimes find themselves frustrated that the Maccabi Tel-Aviv faithful were treated to the Anthony Parker basketball playing glory days instead of us. We take our anger out on AP directly for this too, and it’s unfair. We call him things like a super-old and ancient Shooting Guard, a defensive minded player who can’t defend anybody anymore, a guy who can’t create his own shot, and even an NBA player who can no longer launch the ball up into the basket successfully. We don’t mean any of it though, because we do love Anthony Parker. Just like a lot of other people in the NBA love Anthony Parker too.  Including the New York Knicks, reportedly. Heading into their first full training camp with both Amare’ Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony together, it was reported this morning that New York is interested in adding one more piece to load up for their run at the NBA championship.  That piece being a 36-year old SG from Cleveland, by way of Bradley University. This from Marc Be...

Kyrie Irving Wants To Start, Cavs May Want Ehlo, Boston Wants Parker, and Fratello Talks Shawn Kemp

It is probably obvious that Kyrie Irving would want to start at Point Guard for the Cavaliers this season.  He should start, he was the first pick of the Draft, he's the future of this organization, all of those things.  However, it is particularly encouraging that he is out in front saying that he does want the ball and opportunity to learn as we go here during this 2011-12...

NBA Rumors: Is Chris Paul Playing for the New York Knicks an Inevitable Move?

Last season, the speculation surrounding where Carmelo Anthony would end up playing, when and if contract his expired, consumed the entire NBA. It was clear that Anthony held the power, refusing to sign a contract extension with the Denver Nuggets, ultimately forcing them to trade him to a team of his choice. By trading Anthony to his hometown New York Knicks, the Nuggets accommodated...

Exactly a month after the NBA's scheduled season opener, players are back to work. Owners opened the doors of their facilities Thursday for the first time since locking players out July 1. The Wait Is Over---The Knicks Are Back! (Promo)

Rather than put an end to all of the speculation, Chris Paul merely added fuel to the fire, as his agent reportedly provided the Hornets with the news that CP3 will in fact not sign an extension, and desires to be traded to the Knicks instead.Rumors regarding Carmelo Anthony eventually donning orange and blue swirled around him and the Knicks for months leading up to the actual trade...

Remember When Carmelo Anthony Held His Team Hostage? That’s Chris Paul Now

So it looks like I jumped the gun with the whole “this Chris Paul thing will be fascinating” because it’s about as plain and simple as your mom’s underwear. According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Spears at Yahoo!, Paul’s agent has already told the New Orleans Hornets not to bother trying to sign CP3 to an extension – duh? – because he wants to be traded to the New...

Celtics schedule officially begins on Christmas Day against New York Knicks

A Christmas tree, ornaments, presents and an NBA quintuple-header led by Celtics-Knicks. Not even The Grinch (prior to his enlarged heart) could ruin this Christmas Day, although I guess Carmelo Anthony and/or Amare Stoudemire have the potential to make it slightly less enjoyable.

Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony avoid obvious question

Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony returned to work — and immediately were asked about working together.

The NBA announced today that five season-opening matchups will take place on Christmas Day (the Nuggets will settle for a “Seventh-Night-Of-Hanukkah” Opener). The Nuggets schedule hasn’t been released yet, but it’s likely that the powder blue will have its first game on Dec. 26. Meanwhile, the Christmas quintet is pretty cool. The first game of the season will feature former...
